What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge automation solutions, integrating robotics, PLCs, and HMIs to enhance productivity and quality on the factory floor.
- Act as the lead technical problem-solver for your areas, using data analysis and your hands-on expertise to resolve complex manufacturing challenges.
- Use your software development skills in languages like VB.Net, C#, and Python to create custom programs and interfaces that connect our machinery to our MES.
- Program and integrate a wide variety of manufacturing equipment, including PLCs (RSLogix), torque tools, laser markers, and vision systems.
- Lead cross-functional projects to justify, select, and implement new capital equipment, driving the business case for the next generation of our technology.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related automation field, with at least 2 years of hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with automation and PLC programming (such as RSLogix, Automation Direct, or similar).
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (VB.Net, C#, Python) and experience with SQL databases.
- Familiarity with CAD software (like AutoCAD or SolidWorks) for designing fixtures and layouts.
- A proactive, hands-on problem-solver with a passion for continuous improvement and a deep curiosity for new technology.
