Responsibilities and Duties
As a senior level mechanical engineer, this position is responsible for the following:
- Performing initial and ongoing design reviews
- Delivering documentation offering a critical analysis and suggestions for process improvement
- Submitting a scope of work for each project that includes budgetary numbers and the goal of each project
- Developing SolidWorks 3D CAD project drawings and details
- Troubleshooting design and assembly issues on site at customer location
Qualifications
The qualifications for this position include:
- 4-year degree in Engineering (mechanical specialization preferred), or at least 10 years of mechanical engineering work experience.
- Very strong knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD software and engineering procedures regarding project detailing.
- Excellent prioritization and project development skills.
- Ability to listen effectively and follow specific directions.
- Excellent analytical communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of general industrial safety guidelines.
- Must be team oriented.
- Must be willing to travel as required.
