The operator will interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to produce high-quality products and ensure the machinery is in optimal working condition.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Monitor the machine operations to detect malfunctions or errors.
- Adjust machine settings to improve the quality and efficiency of production.
- Crosstrain on different machines and part families per business needs
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify product dimensions.
- Perform regular checks and maintenance on machines to ensure consistent quality and prevent breakdowns.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in CNC machining or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience as a CNC machine operator or in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Basic Computer Skills required (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook)
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD designs.
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines and understanding of CNC programming.
- Knowledge of machining processes and techniques.
