Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional care to patients at our on-site location in Ellenville, NY. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, developing and implementing treatment plans, and prescribing medications as needed. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with physicians, other healthcare providers, and support staff to deliver holistic patient care. Additional duties include patient education, preventative care, and documentation of medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of New York
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments, developing care plans, and diagnosing conditions
- Ability to prescribe medications and manage treatment for a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions and team collaboration
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine settings
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and maintaining accurate documentation
- Cultural competency and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Commitment to providing care in underserved communities
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) with a Nurse Practitioner certification
