What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Partnerships Summer Intern position at Dallas Trinity FC?
Dallas Trinity FC is seeking a driven, detail-oriented student to join our Partnerships team as an intern during the summer of 2026. This is a front-row seat to how a professional sports organization builds and activates its commercial relationships including from identifying new partners to supporting the activation of existing ones during one of the biggest sporting events Dallas has ever seen.
You'll work directly with our partnerships staff on sales outreach, prospect research, and the day-to-day execution of partner activations surrounding World Cup events in Dallas. This is a hands-on role for a student who wants real experience in sports business.
This is an unpaid internship offered for academic course credit. Applicants must be currently enrolled and able to receive credit through their institution for the duration of the internship.

What You'll Work On
- Support outbound sales outreach by drafting prospecting emails, preparing pitch materials, and helping identify and qualify new partnership leads
- Research potential partners across local, regional, and national categories relevant to the club and World Cup audience
- Maintain and update CRM records, outreach trackers, and partnership pipeline documentation
- Assist in the coordination and on-site execution of existing partner activations at events, matches, and World Cup-related programming
- Help prepare partner recap reports and activation summaries
- Attend partnership meetings and take notes to ensure follow-up items are captured and actioned
- Support the broader partnerships team with administrative tasks as needed during the busy summer season
Who We're Looking For
- A student currently enrolled in a sports management, business, marketing, communications, or related program
- A curious and self-directed person who takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told what to do next
- Strong written communicator with an eye for professional, polished outreach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where plans can change quickly
- Genuine interest in sports business, sponsorship, or commercial partnerships
