What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Processor position at DALLAS THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY?
Job Summary:
The Assistant Admissions Processor is responsible for editing and processing applications and evaluating both national and international transcripts. He or she will answer phones as backup to the Admissions Receptionist, provide prospective students with information about DTS, and assist with preparation of office mailings.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Participate in Seminary Preview Day recruiting activities six times per year.

Evaluate transcripts and other documents from applicants and enter that information into Slate.

Answer phones as backup to the Admissions Office Coordinator.

Merge duplicate applicant records and files

Edit references in applications.

Process reclassification forms.

Process applications from partnership programs (YoungLife, CRU)

Process viewbooks, acceptance letters and labels.

As needed, assist with screening and reviewing application.

As needed, assign evaluators to admissions files.

Other duties as assigned by the Admissions Operations Manager.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
- Experience at DTS as a student or as the spouse of a student (preferred).
- Experience in an administrative role that involves data entry.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
Salary : $15 - $18
