Job Summary:
The Registrar Services Specialist is responsible for assisting students in all phases of their academic program completion by providing assistance with the Registrar’s Office services.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Serve as primary person at front desk, answering phones, answering and distributing incoming emails, and assisting visitors

Maintain and update student records
-
Assist with all registration processes

Provide graduation support and assist with commencement activities

Follow FERPA policies in all communication
-
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:

Must have strong customer service perspective and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and be detail-oriented for data entry and registration.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.

Proficient with Microsoft 365 or related software.

Must be able to work well in a team environment.

Must be able to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems when implemented.

Must have a positive, problem-solving personality and be willing to research answers to complex questions.
Education and Experience:

Must have a bachelor’s degree

Prior experience working with student records and registrar processes is desired.

A two-year commitment is requested
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
