Job Title: Ladies Cardroom Attendant
Classification: Non-Exempt
Role Description
Dallas Country Club is seeking a highly motivated, service-oriented team member to provide exceptional and consistent food & beverage service to members and guests in the Ladies' Card Room.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide an outstanding, engaging dining experience for our members and guests
- Be well informed of all menu offerings, including specials
- Provide prompt attention to all members and guests
- Be friendly, available and exceptional at all times
- Be knowledgeable and able to work point-of-sale
- Follow standard operating procedures
- Verify accuracy of all charges
- Keep tables, dining room, and wait station areas clean and neat
- Inform supervisor/manager of any complaints as soon as they occur
- Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager
- Attend pre-shift line-up, menu tastings, and any other meetings as prescribed by management
- Consistently follow local laws, state laws, and Club policies and procedures for service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Clean and organize card tables and chairs
- Organize cards and other supplies
The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and knowledge:
- TABC Certification and Food Handlers Card Required
- Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
- At least 1-2 years of previous experience working as a server in a fine dining outlet.
- Ladies Card Room is a “Ladies Only” operation the candidate must be female.

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
- Previous knowledge of touch screen POS systems - preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends and rotating shifts especially PM availability and holidays.
- Beer, wine, and spirits knowledge with the ability to make recommendations to guests.
- Ability to anticipate and respond to guests needs.
- Takes Pride in Appearance and Job performance.
