Senior Manager, Financial Reporting (Hybrid | Long Island, NY)
A well-established and expanding wellness and healthcare products manufacturer based in the Long Island area is looking to add a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting to its finance organization. This position is well-suited for a technically strong CPA who enjoys a hands-on role and brings a thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach to financial reporting.
This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity offering a base salary up to $175,000 plus bonus!
Responsibilities
Oversee the end-to-end financial reporting process, including preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements
Produce quarterly financial reporting packages and supporting materials for lender and banking partners
Analyze financial data and trends to support management decision-making
Design, implement, and improve internal controls and reporting procedures
Assist with the annual budgeting and planning process
Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors throughout the audit cycle
Research and document accounting positions for non-routine or complex transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS
Develop and review financial metrics, performance analyses, and operational reporting
Maintain detailed schedules and analyses supporting financial and operational results
Coordinate financial information and reporting across multiple departments
Address accounting and finance-related inquiries through research and data analysis
Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Active CPA required
Minimum of 5 years of accounting and financial reporting experience
Strong analytical capabilities with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight timelines
