Our client is an investment firm that focuses its investments and acquisitions on pharmaceutical fintech companies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of periodic filings with the SEC and prepare related supporting schedules
- Assist in the preparation of the U.S. GAAP disclosure checklist
- Perform tie-out procedures on quarterly and annual financial reports, earning releases related materials, and other externally reported materials
- Review and assist in the preparation of the annual greenhouse gas emission report
- Perform benchmarking research of peer companies on financial disclosure and disclosure requirements
- Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and expected changes to accounting policies or filing requirements
- Maintain documentation supporting SOX compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 2-5 years of related experience
- Experience at a public accounting firm or at a public company with SEC reporting experience
- Experience with Workiva or Netsuite a plus
- CPA required or parts passed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
