Interim Controller

We are currently seeking candidates for an Interim Controller at a real estate investment/management co. located in Boston, MA, 02130. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of real estate industry and REIT experience.

This role is a 4–5-month consulting role that will pay up to $90.00 per hour (based on relevant work experience) within a 40-hour work week.

5 days per week on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Manage staff of three direct reports
• Manage corporate accounting and investment accounting through close
• Oversee Accounts Payable
• Provide timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, financial reporting
• General Ledger maintenance
• Manage and maintain accounting process
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or related field; CPA preferred
• Fund accounting and corporate accounting experience required
• Experience with Yardi is required
• Proven success in managing an accounting dept.
• Proficient in using Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs
