We are currently seeking candidates for a Healthcare Collections/Accounts Receivable professional at a healthcare non-profit organization in Boca Raton, FL, 33486. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of recent healthcare accounts receivable and collections experience. Recent experience with Medicaid and insurance companies is required.
This is a 3 month temporary role with an opportunity to become permanent.
Hourly pay rate: Between $25.00 and $35.00 (based on relative work experience) based on a 40-hour work week.

Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in helping the organization catch up on overdue balances, exercising strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Review aging accounts receivable (AR) reports and identify outstanding balances.
- Contact clients, insurance providers, and/or funding agencies to resolve overdue payments.
- Research and resolve discrepancies in billing records to rebill providers.
- Update and maintain collection activities in Arize/Etactics.
- Exercise professionalism and compassion in communicating with clients regarding account status and payment options.
- Partner with program and administrative professionals to resolve billing errors and update client account information, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other applicable privacy laws.
- 2 years of healthcare accounts receivable and collections experience is required
- Recent experience with Medicaid and insurance companies is required
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong sense of urgency
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be proficient in MS Excel
Salary : $25 - $35
