🚨 Business Unit Leader - Mission Critical
📍 Central Virginia (Relocation Supported)
We are exclusively partnered with a top tier general contractor to appoint a Business Unit Leader to oversee their Mission Critical & Data Centers division.
This is a senior leadership opportunity to take ownership of a high growth market segment within a well capitalized, nationally recognized builder delivering complex mission critical projects.
The Opportunity:
This role offers full responsibility for leading and expanding a Mission Critical business unit, with a clear mandate to drive growth, strengthen client relationships and deliver major projects across the region.
You will operate with significant autonomy while leveraging the resources, reputation and operational depth of an established contractor.
Key Requirements:
- Background with a General Contractor (Essential)
- Proven Mission Critical / Data Center experience within a GC environment (Essential)
- Track record delivering large-scale projects ($50M )
- Experience in a senior leadership or business unit role
- Based in or willing to relocate to Central Virginia (Essential)
Responsibilities
- Full P&L responsibility for the Mission Critical division
- Lead strategic growth and market expansion initiatives
- Oversee project execution from preconstruction through delivery
- Drive client development and key account relationships
- Build and lead high performing teams
- Contribute to pursuit strategy, risk evaluation and contract decisions

Salary : $190,000 - $230,000
