Duties

• Greeting and seating guests
• Interact with customers to answer questions about the menu, take orders accurately, and communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Packaging take-out orders and ensuring delivery of accurate orders.
• Handle billing, process payments, and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Supporting staff and management: helping servers and managers when needed including running orders and refilling drinks.
• Must follow safety and hygiene standards by maintaining the cleanliness of the host station/counter as well as work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their experience.
• Record Keeping: Maintain reservations, guest preferences, or other relevant guest information for future visits.
• Handling Phone Calls: Answer calls and provide information about the restaurant's hours, menu, or reservations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and POS system is a plus.
• Strong math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of culinary practices and food preparation techniques is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
• A positive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
