Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures for storage, mixing, and disposal to ensure a secure environment.
• Conduct custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window washing, and sanitation of high-touch surfaces.
• Maintain facilities by performing minor repairs, painting residential spaces when needed, and assisting with general maintenance duties.
• Operate cleaning machinery and tools efficiently while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Support industrial cleaning projects that require specialized techniques and equipment for large-scale sanitation efforts.
• Follow safety procedures diligently during all tasks to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning practices.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial tools.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely by understanding chemical handling safety procedures.
• Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while practicing safe lifting techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness standards consistently.
• Customer service skills are a plus for interacting professionally with staff or clients when necessary.
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance or Porter roles is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
