SUMMARY: Serves as a Production Line Worker in all stages of production/development by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following: Other duties may be assigned.
Follow proper department procedures outlined in Daily’s training manuals:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos preferred. Ability to write simple correspondence preferred. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and management. Bilingual skills preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations preferred.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Employee is working in an area of raw meat and must be willing and able to handle raw product. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move about the production area. Employee will be standing/walking on concrete floors for 10 hours per day, 6 days per week. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to cold, wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but sometimes very loud. Must be able to wear OSHA approved hearing protection.
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management.

- Understand product specification requirements to ensure quality.
- Follow procedures outlined by Department Supervisor/Department Leads.
- Follow Daily’s attendance and punctuality rules.
- Follow all Daily’s food security guidelines.
- Follow all Daily’s Safety guidelines as outlined in the Safety Handbook.
- Maintain accurate counts
- Adhere to product specifications
- Work at a pace consistent with the required line speed
- Keeping accurate records as needed
- Strict compliance with sanitation requirements
- Minimize scrap at all times
- Sweeping floor and aisles as instructed
- Keep all scraps picked up from floor in your work area
- Washing building and equipment as needed and scheduled
- Keeping all trash and items picked up
- Assisting in cleaning and maintaining office area
