Full-Time Baker / Prep Cook--afternoon shift

We're a busy coffee shop / bakery in the Cannery District and the oldest coffee shop in Bozeman! We just expanded and added a Market that is anchored with our housemade sandwiches, salads, soups etc.. Folks here have been coming to us for 30 years for high-quality baked goods. With the expansion we have greatly increased our lunch offerings as well as greatly expanding out our Grab & Go options. We will absolutely train the right person(s).

We are looking for friendly, dependable, team-oriented, customer-conscious Bakers to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about baking and the community it creates. Our ideal candidate has a kind, nature and wants to learn and perfect their bakery skills but brings plenty to the table already.

Our Kitchen team is already strong with 11 great people but we need 1 or 2 more bakers / prep cooks to keep our pastry case full, fill special orders and grow with us..

Our focus is serving quality food & baked goods while integrating all our bakers seamlessly as a great team at The Daily. We value bakers who work well around others and have high integrity.

We are currently seeking someone who is interested in 32-40 hours per week. Weekend availability is a must--every member of the team works at least one weekend shift per week. A baker employed at Daily Coffee and Eatery is generally responsible for every step of production of the baked goods that we provide. Bakers are asked to follow provided recipes, reading through them and clarifying with management when questions arise. They will be provided with lists that are to be completed within the time provided to them. Bakers are expected to uphold the quality standards set by management, and are entrusted to make calls regarding whether or not products should be put out for sale.

We make burritos, frittatas and breakfast sandwiches.

We make elevated sandwiches, salads, soups and more,
We bake scones, cakes, tarts, bars, cookies, and cheesecakes!

**Currently hiring afternoon shifts (12p-7p) and Preference is given to those with the most availability.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
