Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements
- Perform both manual and automated testing across web and backend applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using established defect management tools, ensuring timely resolution
- Analyze business and system requirements to ensure testability and coverage
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX/UI teams to maintain quality standards throughout delivery
- Execute regression, integration, and performance testing to validate new and existing features
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing quality-focused insights during sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Prepare and communicate clear test results, metrics, and release readiness reports to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Experience with C# or Node.js
- Proven experience working as a QA Engineer within the software development lifecycle
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams
- Experience with C#/.NET
- Experience with Node.js
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Experience developing or maintaining automated test frameworks
- Working knowledge of performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Azure Load Testing)
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing concepts
- Programming experience for test automation using languages such as .NET, Java, or JavaScript
