D3 Air and Space Operations has an opening for a Strategic Planner at MacDill AFB, FL.

Estimated Start Date: 16 Jan 26

• Provides support with strategic planning, project execution, and operational oversight in a high-stake defense environment. Common Tasks include:
• collaborate with military, civilian, and contractor teams to ensure mission alignment and efficiency.
• Assist in directing division activities, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and performance metrics for joint operations.
• Lead cross-functional teams in project management, from initiation through closure, ensuring compliance with DoW standards and timelines.
• Provide strategic advice on policy implementation, stakeholder engagement, and process improvements to enhance command effectiveness.
• Oversee budget planning, contract management, and reporting to senior leadership.
• Must have strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Foster inter-agency collaboration and resolve complex issues in dynamic, multi-domain environments. Coordinate Joint Protection Action Group (JPAG) process and attendance of SSB-JP, JP-BOD, and ESB/Commander's Decision Round Table.
• Track and provide guidance of risk management programs such as JPAG.
  
  

Position Requirements

Shall have one of the following:

• Masters in Management
• Masters in Project Management
• Masters in Business Analytics.
  
  

And

• One of the following: PRINCE2 certification, Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP, Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or an Executive Education Certificate with CompTIA Project
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, operations, or leadership roles within defense, government, intelligence, or equivalent sectors.
• Experience leading a Joint Staff at the O5 level, Program Management experience on a large DoD contract for 3 years,
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
