Role Description
The Strength and Conditioning Coach role is a part-time, on-site position based in Bloomingdale, IL. The coach will design and implement fitness programs to improve athletic performance, guide individuals through athletic-based training routines, and ensure proper techniques to prevent injuries. Responsibilities include creating tailored training plans, leading group and one-on-one sessions, and fostering an encouraging fitness environment while monitoring athlete progress and performance.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and expertise in Sports Science and understanding of Athletic Performance assessments
- Proficiency in Strength & Conditioning and Strength Training methods
- Skills in Injury Prevention practices and recovery strategies
- Strong communication and motivational skills to inspire athletes
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCS, NASM, or equivalent) are highly desirable
- Prior coaching or athletic training experience is a plus
- Ability to adapt training programs for different skill levels and age groups
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred
