Traveling Industrial Electrician -- Journeyman Level

A: Join our nationwide travel team—typically 3–4 weeks on assignment (sometimes longer), with company-arranged flights, hotels, and rental cars.

• Work under direction of master electricians and project engineers to deliver industrial-quality outcomes.
• Disassemble power distribution equipment; replace failed or worn components; reassemble and test.
• Plan tasks and create material lists; coordinate with purchasing to keep work moving.
• Stage tools/materials from internal stock and suppliers; maintain organized work areas.
• Measure, cut, and bend EMT; thread rigid conduit; install cable tray, conduit, and supports.
• Field-fit and install Unistrut frames and hangers to support systems and equipment.
• Execute manual and mechanically assisted wire pulls; perform clean terminations.
• Trace and label power distribution and control wiring before equipment removal.
• Install/mount panels, disconnects, junction boxes, and motors to spec.
• Guide and mentor apprentices; verify their workmanship.
• Clean and maintain tools, machines, and equipment during and after use.
• Handle additional routine jobsite tasks as assigned by site management.

• 100% travel nationwide: Expect continuous travel as part of the field team.
• Typical assignment length: 3–4 weeks; occasionally a couple of months.
• Holidays: There can be breaks around holidays.

• Starting hourly rate: $31.00–$35.00 (based on experience and skillset)
• Overtime: 1.5x for hours over 40 each week
• Per diem: $70.00/day
• Mileage: $0.76/mile when driving your personal vehicle from home to the work site (excludes hotel-to-jobsite commutes)
• Travel paid by D-Riven: Flights, hotels, and rental cars are booked and paid in advance
• PTO: Accrue 120 hours (vacation, sick, personal) with Manager approval to use

• High school diploma or GED
• Electrical trade school plus Journeyman Electrician license
• Knowledge of electrical theory, three-phase power, and industrial wiring methods
• Experience with aerial lifts, forklifts, and other powered equipment
• Reliable vehicle suitable for interstate travel
• Own basic hand tools (wrenches, sockets, etc.)
• Willing to travel 100% nationwide
