Description of Duties
Title : Visual Merchandising Manager
Supervisor: VP of Retail
Classification: Exempt
Salary Range*: $120,000 - $140,000 annually
Working Hours*: Monday through Friday, 9:00a-5:30p (can change depending)
Schedule*: In-office minimum 1 day a week, and In the Field
Location: HQ: 14801 Califa St Van Nuys, CA 91411
Travel: ~50% of hours are travel
DÔEN is looking for a dynamic and experienced Visual Merchandising Manager to join our growing team. This
position is on site and in-store and will report to the VP of Retail. The Visual Merchandising Manager will primarily
support and execute the visual direction across all DÔEN physical environments - retail stores, shop-in-shops, showrooms,
and pop-ups. This role ensures that every visual element reflects DÔEN’s brand identity: romantic, thoughtful, and rooted
in storytelling. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative - able to translate seasonal concepts
into elevated in-store presentations while maintaining SKU capacity standards, reporting, and oversight of visual collateral.
This role partners closely with the Retail, Creative and Merchandising teams to deliver consistent, immersive brand
experiences that inspire clients and drive sales.
- Execute seasonal visual merchandising strategies in partnership with the Creative and Retail teams to bring
- Oversee all aspects of in-store presentation, including floor sets, mannequin styling, windows, and seasonal
- Maintain and evolve visual merchandising standards and guidelines to ensure consistency across all locations.
- Collaborate with Retail and Merchandising teams to align visual execution with product priorities and
- Monitor SKU capacity to ensure product presentations remain balanced, elevated, and easy to shop.
- Prepare reporting and recaps to evaluate visual impact, provide insights to leadership, and inform future
- Manage and maintain visual merchandising collateral, including hangers, propping, signage, and other in-store
- Support new store openings, relocations, and refreshes, ensuring alignment with brand standards from day one.
- Partner with store teams to provide training, direction, and feedback to ensure strong execution of VM
- Travel regularly to stores to oversee seasonal floor sets, audit compliance, and gather feedback from field teams.
- 3–5 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably within a premium or lifestyle retail brand.
- Strong styling skills and an eye for composition, proportion, and storytelling in retail environments.
- Experience in SKU capacity management, VM reporting, and collateral oversight.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) or similar
- Willingness to travel as needed to support store visits and seasonal resets.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members of different backgrounds and skill sets.
- A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative; exercise discretion and good judgment.
- Ability to prioritize competing projects and meet deadlines.
