Job Summary:
The Visual Merchandising Manager is responsible for defining and executing MINISO's end-to-end visual merchandising strategy across all retail environments, including existing stores, new store openings, and pop-ups. This role drives brand and product storytelling through store layout, windows, interior displays, and fixtures, ensuring a consistent, scalable, and brand-right visual experience across the fleet. The Visual Merchandising Manager owns the visual strategy and plays a hands-on role in bringing concepts to life in store, while partnering cross-functionally to deliver measurable business impact.
Essential Job Functions:
- Define and lead MINISO's visual merchandising philosophy, aligning brand storytelling with customer insights and in-store execution to drive performance.
- Lead all product and brand storytelling across retail, including windows, focal displays, and fixtures, ensuring consistency, creativity, and conversion.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-tier visual merchandising strategy adaptable to different store formats, sizes, and locations.
- Own and manage the visual merchandising calendar, balancing new product launches, seasonal transitions, and evergreen storytelling.
- Create clear visual directives, toolkits, and communication materials to enable consistent execution by store teams.
- Build strong relationships with store teams and retail partners, providing guidance, inspiration, and continuous feedback.
- Participate directly in in-store execution, including fixture builds, display setup, and on-site visual implementation.
- Analyze store performance data and customer insights to continuously optimize visual merchandising strategies.
- Manage the visual merchandising and store design budget, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on brand, and within budget.
- Ensure all store environments, both temporary and permanent, are visually compelling, operationally effective, and unmistakably MINISO.
- Partner with Buying, Planning, and Leadership during Product Line Reviews to align assortments with store capacity, design guidelines, and seasonal concepts.
Additional Qualifications:
- Background in toys, specialty, or comparable retail preferred.
- Strong visual merchandising and store design expertise, with the ability to balance strategy and hands-on execution.
- Proven experience building scalable visual merchandising systems across multiple store formats.
- Strong understanding of spatial design, visual hierarchy, and product storytelling.
- Experience working in locally assorted store environments with adaptable visual systems.
- Budget management experience with the ability to prioritize investments for maximum impact.
- Vendor management experience across sourcing, production, and installation.
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and presentation tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to independently lead store design projects from concept through execution.
- Creative, innovative, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in multi-unit retail visual merchandising and store design.
Pay Range: USD $110, USD $150,965.00 /Yr.
