ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a seasoned General Manager for a well-established 200 key upper-upscale business hotel in Peru. This is a senior commercial leadership role for an experienced hotelier with a strong track record in premium, upper upscale, or lifestyle hotel environments. The property is 5 years old and operates at a strong commercial pace, requiring a leader who is as comfortable driving revenue as they are inspiring a team.
Local knowledge of Peru is not required. International candidates are welcome, and work permit support is available. Family relocation is fully supported.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead overall hotel operations with full accountability for commercial performance, guest satisfaction, and team engagement
- Drive revenue strategy across rooms, F&B, and ancillary income streams in a strong business hotel environment
- Ensure F&B; and accommodation operations consistently meet premium brand standards and market positioning
- Build and maintain strong owner and investor relationships, providing regular performance reporting and strategic insight
- Develop and empower department heads, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture across the property
- Oversee budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management across all departments
- Lead marketing and sales strategies to maximise occupancy, rate, and overall revenue performance
WHAT YOU BRING
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager - seasoned leaders only, no first-time GMs
- Background in upper upscale, premium, or lifestyle hotel brands is required; ultra-luxury experience is not necessary
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in revenue management, investor relations, and financial performance
- Fluent in both Spanish and English - this is a firm requirement
- Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field
- International experience is welcomed; prior Peru or local market knowledge is not required
