Bookkeeper

Responsibilities:

• Process incoming invoices for accuracy and distributing to approving parties for entry.
• Code and enter invoices into the accounting system and vendor check runs.
• Communicate effectively with vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues.
• Post cash receipts
• Generate customer statements when requested.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Recording monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries.
• Support month and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain historical records via electronic means.
• Detail oriented and effectively communicates within the department and throughout the firm working with staff and management.
• Reports directly to Assistant Controller.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting.
• Ability to work with Microsoft Office Products.
• Experience with BST accounting software preferred, but not required.
  
  

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8 hour shift
  
  

Salary Range:

$55,000 – $62,000
