We are seeking a reliable individual for a position as a FACILITIES MAINTENANCE APPRENTICE to join a dedicated and hard-working team in Wilton Campus. If you are serious about your next job, D.A. Upon acceptance of offer, we will coordinate new hire paperwork and pre-employment substance abuse screening (Drug Free Employer).

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

o Assist in a variety of tasks in regard to the upkeep of buildings, grounds and equipment

o Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing and carpentry

o Conduct inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate

o Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs

o Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

o Help clean and maintain tools, machinery and other mechanical equipment

o Assist with setting up and breakdown of events or special projects as needed

o Perform all job functions with safety as a priority and buy-in our corporate philosophy of “NOBODY GETS HURT, PERIOD”.

o Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

o Perform other related duties as assigned.

o Maintain confidentiality of business and personal information, including but not limited to verbal, sign language, written, and digital information sources.

Required Qualifications:

o Must be at a minimum, 18 years of age

o Must have at least one year’s experience in manual labor

o Ability to troubleshoot and resolve a variety of maintenance issues

o Driver's License (Some driving Required)

o Must be able to pass a drug screen (Drug Free Employer)

Compensation:

Competitive wage commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package including company paid health, dental and vision insurance with a company-funded retirement plan.

Salary Range $18.00 - $25.00/hour

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
