QA Analyst/Campaign QA Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst / Campaign QA Specialist contractor with deep experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to support campaign validation, journey testing, and post-deployment analysis. This role will partner closely with marketing operations, CRM, and campaign teams to ensure accuracy, functionality, and performance across complex customer journeys and campaign executions.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, hands-on SQL experience, and a deep understanding of how marketing campaigns are built, executed, validated, and measured within Salesforce Marketing Cloud environments.
Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud is a strong plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate complex Salesforce Marketing Cloud journeys, automations, and campaign configurations against documented business and campaign requirements
- Perform end-to-end QA testing for email, SMS, push, audience segmentation, personalization, and triggered campaigns
- Validate audience targeting, exclusions, suppression logic, and dynamic content behavior
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate campaign audiences, segmentation logic, and deployment outputs
- Conduct pre-launch QA and post-launch validation, including delivery counts, audience volumes, and campaign performance checks
- Investigate and troubleshoot discrepancies in campaign execution, data flows, or reporting outputs
- Create and maintain QA documentation, test cases, validation procedures, and issue tracking
- Build and maintain operational and campaign validation reports using non-Salesforce reporting and BI tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing Operations, Channel Marketing, MarTech, and Data Org
- Support ongoing process improvement initiatives related to campaign QA and deployment accuracy
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
- Deep understanding of SFMC Journeys, Automation Studio, Data Extensions, Audience segmentation, and campaign execution workflows
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to validate datasets, segmentation logic, and campaign outputs
- Experience reviewing complex customer journeys and validating against campaign/business requirements
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience validating campaign deployment volumes and post-launch reporting
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud
- Experience with Monte Carlo
- Experience with marketing automation QA processes and testing frameworks
- Familiarity with reporting and BI tools outside of Salesforce (Tableau)
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale CRM or lifecycle marketing programs
- Understanding of customer data architecture and marketing data flows
Compensation
- $46.45 to $61.94/hr. (W2)
