Project Manager – Data & Analytics
12-month Contract-to-Hire
Location: Remote (EST/CST preferred)
Pay: $70 - 87/hr (compensation can vary depending on experience)
This person will lead data-focused initiatives including large-scale data migration and data warehouse reporting under the governance of an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This person will be responsible for successful delivery of projects within scope, schedule, and budget while adhering to established project management and software development lifecycle methologies. The Project Manager will work closely with IT leadership, data architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions that support both operational and strategic objectives.

Most Important Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Plan, execute and deliver data initiatives – including data migration, analytics, and governance, and enterprise reporting – within defined scope, schedule, and budget. Develop and maintain project plans, lead status reporting, recurring cadence meetings, and stakeholder communication.
- Stakeholder & Team Management: Engage and manage stakeholders across the organization; lead cross functional teams while sustaining team morale. Drive alignment around migration readiness, validation, cutover activities, and downstream business impacts.
- Risk & Change Management: Identify and mitigate risk related to data quality, integrity, security and business disruption. Manage scope, dependencies, and change control across migration phases to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
- Data & Business Alignment: Translate business objectives into data and migration solutions that align with enterprise data strategy, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Process & Methodology: Apply EPMO, PMLC, and SDLC practices to data projects – including migration strategies, cutover planning, validation cycles, and quality reviews.
- Proven experience managing IT or data-centric projects in a complex enterprise environment.
- Experience leading large-scale data migrations across legacy and modern platforms.
- Strong understanding of data management, analytics, and governance principles.
- Familiarity with data quality, reconciliation techniques, and migration tooling.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
- PMP certification and insurance background preferred.
