Hours: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Schedule flexibility is required, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays based on production needs.
Job Description
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Programming Associate to support the growth and visibility of its expanding podcast portfolio.
In this role, you will help drive podcast distribution across Paramount apps featuring award-winning content produced by CBS Sports and CBS News.
The ideal candidate is a strong cross-functional operator with excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills. You will work closely with programming teams, podcast managers, producers, marketing, product teams, and stakeholders across Paramount , CBS Sports, and CBS News to identify distribution opportunities, track performance, and support data-informed decisions that grow engagement across platforms.
Strong familiarity with CBS Sports and CBS News properties is essential.
Responsibilities
- Upload full podcast episodes to Paramount
- Partner with producers to publish podcast clips as VOD and vertical videos
- Create thumbnails and perform light video editing using Adobe Photoshop and Premiere
- Publish video content to platforms such as YouTube, including metadata entry
- Coordinate backend publishing for podcast show pages and playlists
- Collaborate daily with programming, product, marketing, editorial, production, and sales teams
- Monitor publishing workflows and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Track content performance and communicate reporting to key stakeholders
- Support promotional opportunities across Paramount platforms
- Assist with digital asset management and file movement across teams
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of digital media experience
- Experience as a Production Assistant or in a similar digital content role
- Knowledge of the podcast industry
- Strong editorial judgment with the ability to identify engaging short-form podcast moments
- Experience with content management systems and web publishing
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Premiere Pro
- Experience publishing video content to YouTube, including metadata management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-changing environment
- Ability to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong familiarity with CBS News and CBS Sports programming
Pay Rate
- $22.89 to $27.71/hour
