Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

• Medical device assembly experience 2 years (catheter or small component assembly preferred).
• Strong hand dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and SOPs.
• Quality inspection and attention to detail.
• Basic documentation and compliance (GDP/GMP environment).
• Microscope use: Yes role requires frequent use of a microscope for assembly and inspection.
• Team lift required: No lifts are minimal; standard materials handling is typically under individual lift limits.
• Standing vs. sitting ratio: Primarily sitting (approximately 70 80% sitting, 20 30% standing depending on task rotation).
• These positions require a 7th grade reading and comprehension level.

Responsibilities:

• Assembles medical devices and related components.
• Depending on work area, it may be a controlled cleanroom environment.
• May include use of microscopes, use of hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering, adhesive bonding, and operating various equipment.
• Performs routine assignments according to specified and/or standardized procedures.
• Work is closely and continually reviewed.
• Performs visual inspection and precision measurements on components and assemblies.
• Performs tests on units using computerized test equipment.
• Repairs and corrects devices/components using microscopes and applicable tools.
• Packages devices ensuring all parts are accurate and documentation is complete.
• Ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.

Qualification And Education:

• High school diploma required.
