Job Overview:
Requirement/Must Have:
- Medical device assembly experience 2 years (catheter or small component assembly preferred).
- Strong hand dexterity and fine motor skills.
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and SOPs.
- Quality inspection and attention to detail.
- Basic documentation and compliance (GDP/GMP environment).
- Microscope use: Yes role requires frequent use of a microscope for assembly and inspection.
- Team lift required: No lifts are minimal; standard materials handling is typically under individual lift limits.
- Standing vs. sitting ratio: Primarily sitting (approximately 70 80% sitting, 20 30% standing depending on task rotation).
- These positions require a 7th grade reading and comprehension level.
Responsibilities:
- Assembles medical devices and related components.
- Depending on work area, it may be a controlled cleanroom environment.
- May include use of microscopes, use of hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering, adhesive bonding, and operating various equipment.
- Performs routine assignments according to specified and/or standardized procedures.
- Work is closely and continually reviewed.
- Performs visual inspection and precision measurements on components and assemblies.
- Performs tests on units using computerized test equipment.
- Repairs and corrects devices/components using microscopes and applicable tools.
- Packages devices ensuring all parts are accurate and documentation is complete.
- Ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.
Qualification And Education:
- High school diploma required.
