Role Overview
We’re seeking a Head of Content with 5 years of experience who approaches
content like a system — not a series of posts. This is a marketing leadership role for someone who is analytically wired, highly structured, and performance-obsessed. You should be comfortable thinking in funnels, attribution models, structured data, and experimentation frameworks — while also understanding brand voice, storytelling, and creative strategy. You will own the full content ecosystem: organic social, email, blog, landing pages, product storytelling, educational assets, and creative testing frameworks. Your mandate is to turn content into a measurable growth lever across acquisition, retention, and brand equity.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Systems
- Build and own a full-funnel content strategy aligned to revenue and LTV goals
- Architect a scalable content engine (briefing frameworks, testing cycles, feedback loops, distribution systems)
- Develop structured content taxonomies and messaging pillars tied to customer segments and lifecycle stages
- Partner with Growth, Paid Media, Retention, and Product teams to ensure content drives measurable outcomes
Data-Driven Performance
- Define content KPIs across acquisition, engagement, retention, and conversion
- Build reporting dashboards and performance frameworks (CTR, CVR, LTV by content theme, hook rate, etc.)
- Run structured creative testing roadmaps (hypothesis → test → analyze → iterate)
- Leverage analytics tools (GA4, Shopify data, CRM data, paid media dashboards) to inform content decisions
- Translate qualitative insights (community, customer service, reviews) into structured data inputs
Team Leadership
- Build and manage internal content team (copywriters, editors, social leads, designers, video)
- Develop clear creative briefs grounded in data and conversion insights
- Establish quality control standards and performance benchmarks
- Create repeatable workflows for content production and distribution
AI & Technology
- Integrate AI tools (ChatGPT, generative platforms, workflow automation) into research, ideation, and production processes
- Structure prompts, systems, and workflows to improve output efficiency and quality
- Explore content personalization and dynamic messaging opportunities
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in content marketing, brand marketing, or growth content (CPG or DTC preferred)
- Proven track record of scaling content as a revenue driver — not just engagement
- Strong analytical foundation (comfortable with spreadsheets, dashboards, data interpretation)
- Experience working closely with paid media and lifecycle teams
- Deep understanding of performance metrics (CAC, MER, LTV, CVR, CTR, retention curves)
- Experience building structured experimentation frameworks
- Clear systems thinker — able to document processes and build scalable engines
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in wellness, supplements, or health-focused brands
- Background in data science, analytics, engineering, or highly quantitative environments
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM segmentation
- Familiarity with SEO strategy and technical content optimization
- Experience scaling organic social into a measurable acquisition channel
- Advanced use of AI tools for content ideation and optimization
