War on Cost has an opening for a Project Engineer to work on Systems and Product Change and Production Incorporation reviews of aircraft engine systems and components. The project engineer position will facilitate reviews, assure requirements are met, and drive quality and reliability.
Salary: 60k-75k USD
Job Requirements:
- Responsibilities of the Project Engineer will include facilitating and supporting execution of systems, product design change, and production and incorporation reviews.
- Work with systems, product engineering, and manufacturing integrated product team members to identify reviewers, schedule, host, and participate in reviews.
- Record meeting minutes, actions items, attendees, and update electronic product databases.
- Process workflow requests for post-review requirements in accordance with engineering standard work.
- Monitor, track, and close actions and reviews working with the responsible team members to ensure completeness based on regulation requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, related field, or 1-3 years of experience in a related industry
- Ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and electronic databases
- Candidate must have good written and oral presentation skills
- Ability to host and facilitate reviews using electronic software, communicate with customers, and efficiently track and manage incoming requests
- US Citizenship required due to government contracts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with aircraft and or engine engineering processes
- Experience in Product Data Management (PDM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) as a Project Leader, Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or related position.
- Experience with SharePoint, Teamcenter PLM, and SAP ERP systems
