Vice President Engineering – AI-Driven Cloud Management Solutions
Location: Richardson, TX (Hybrid)
Position Summary
Lead and scale the engineering organization for a fast-growing AI-driven cloud platform company. Drive engineering transformation, establish scalable delivery practices, and partner with executive leadership to build high-performing teams and enterprise-grade SaaS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop distributed engineering and QA teams across the U.S. and India.
- Build scalable engineering structures, performance frameworks, and career growth programs.
- Establish and mature SDLC, Agile delivery, release management, and engineering governance.
- Implement code quality standards, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment practices.
- Drive AI-assisted engineering adoption with clear governance and security standards.
- Partner with Product and CTO to deliver AI-enabled product capabilities.
- Own engineering execution, delivery forecasting, and cross-functional alignment.
- Improve operational efficiency through engineering metrics and continuous improvement.
- Guide architecture decisions, technical debt reduction, and platform scalability.
- Represent engineering in executive, customer, and stakeholder discussions.
Qualifications
- 10 years in software engineering with 4 years in senior engineering leadership.
- Proven success scaling engineering organizations and implementing engineering best practices.
- Strong background in SaaS, enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps.
- Experience leading distributed global teams, ideally U.S.–India environments.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered products and AI-assisted development workflows.
- Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and modern software delivery models.
- Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Computer Science degree preferred; MBA or executive leadership experience is a plus.
