Role Description
In this role, you will collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, and the wider revenue team, providing technical support, training, and education to facilitate the successful closure of sales cycles for CyberFOX's software solutions. Responsibilities encompass product demonstrations, handling RFI/RFQ, Trial Assists (Quickstarts), and supporting and consulting calls for potential customers. The Sales Engineer excels in both sales and technology, demonstrating proficiency in navigating both domains effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaboration with Sales Team Work closely with Regional Sales Managers and Business Development Managers to understand customer requirements and contribute technical expertise to the sales process.
- Technical Support Provide technical assistance to the broader revenue team, addressing queries and concerns related to CyberFOX's software solutions.
- Training and Education: Conduct training sessions for the sales team to enhance their understanding of the technical aspects of the software, enabling them to communicate effectively with prospective customers.
- Sales Cycles Completion: Assist in completing sales cycles by actively participating in product demonstrations, responding to RFI/RFQ, and facilitating Trial Assists (Quickstarts) to showcase the capabilities of the software.
- Customer Interaction: Engage in support calls and consulting calls with potential customers to address their technical inquiries and provide guidance on the implementation of the software solutions.
- Dual Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in both sales and technology, bridging the gap between these areas to effectively communicate the value proposition of CyberFOX's software solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of CyberFOX solutions.
- Understanding of best practices and processes for IT Companies.
- Understand the needs versus wants of the prospect and guide them accordingly.
- Ability to take a consultative approach to all interactions with prospects.
- Think creatively to meet the needs of the prospect.
- Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated.
- Strong computer and social skills, ability to effectively communicate through phone and e-mail.
- Experience with web-based presentation tools (i.e., WebEx, Zoom, Teams).
- 4-year degree plus 1-3 years of sales consultant experience preferred or equivalent experience working in IT environments, general IT support, consulting or sales.
Working Conditions
- Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm ET
- Hybrid working environment. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday are in-office.
