Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in workers' compensation cases, focusing on defense litigation.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Prepare and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and appeals.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and insurance companies.
- Attend hearings, trials, and mediations to advocate for clients' interests.
- Provide clients with thorough legal advice and updates on their cases.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Proven trial experience and strong litigation skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in CA.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation law, with a focus on defense.
- Proven trial experience and strong litigation skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
- Salary: $110-180k
