We are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role is essential in supporting attorneys with case preparation and management, ensuring all procedural requirements are met for successful resolution of workers' compensation claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing workers' compensation cases for hearings and trials
- Prepare and organize litigation documents, including pleadings and discovery requests
- Conduct legal research and compile relevant case law and statutes
- Manage and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
- Schedule depositions, hearings, and client meetings
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, and courts to facilitate case progress
- Assist in the preparation of settlements and negotiations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Paralegal certification preferred
- 2 years of experience in workers' compensation law
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures related to workers' compensation
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in legal research and documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
