Warehouse Driver (CDL Required)

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Driver with a valid CDL to support warehouse operations and regional logistics. The role combines commercial driving duties picking up and delivering goods safely and on schedule with hands-on warehouse support such as loading, unloading, and inventory assistance. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, and comfortable performing physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and on schedule for local and regional routes
• Load, unload, secure, and inspect freight to ensure accuracy and prevent damage
• Follow DOT and company safety regulations, complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, and report maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate driving logs and paperwork (including ELD and delivery receipts) and communicate status with dispatch
• Assist warehouse team with receiving, picking, packing, and staging shipments as needed
• Use warehouse equipment safely (pallet jack, hand truck; forklift operation a plus) and keep work areas clean and organized
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries and pickups, representing the company positively
• Support inventory counts and help with basic data entry related to shipments and receipts

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) required
• Clean driving record with demonstrated safe driving history; ability to pass DOT-required drug and alcohol screening
• 1 years of commercial driving experience preferred (local/regional delivery experience a plus)
• Experience working in a warehouse environment and performing physical tasks; ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Familiarity with DOT regulations, vehicle inspection procedures, and ELD logging
• Forklift certification and prior forklift operation experience preferred but not required
• Basic computer skills for completing logs and electronic paperwork, and strong communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends as needed
