Position Overview
The Traveling Superintendent is responsible for overseeing construction projects at various locations, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and coordinate with stakeholders across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish at various locations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project budgets and schedules, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to assess progress and address issues.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Ability to travel frequently and manage projects across multiple locations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with retail, hospitality, healthcare, civic, and educational construction projects is a plus.
