A multidisciplinary civil and planning consultancy is looking for a Transportation Engineer to support the planning and design of public infrastructure projects across Ohio. This role offers exposure to a wide variety of work-from municipal roadways and safety improvements to trails, roundabouts, and complete streets-with room to grow technically and professionally.
You'll collaborate closely with experienced engineers and planners, contribute to design development, and see projects move from concept to construction.
What You'll Do- Support planning and design for roadway and active transportation projects
- Perform research, data analysis, and field reviews
- Develop CAD-based design plans and visual exhibits
- Prepare quantities, cost estimates, and technical documentation
- Participate in quality reviews and client coordination
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 2 years of relevant transportation or civil experience
- EIT required; PE preferred
- Familiarity with CAD and industry design tools
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
