About the RoleWe're looking for a skilled and customer-focused Technical Support Engineer to join our IT team and deliver enterprise-level support. In this role, you'll troubleshoot software and hardware issues, assist with application installations, configure new hardware and resolve computer related issues. You will work with a team utilizing remote desktop connection solutions for immediate response.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and configuration issues across Windows and macOS environments.
- Provide real-time support via remote desktop, chat, email, and phone.
- Guide users through troubleshooting steps and technical solutions.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g., developers).
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of support activities.
- Manage laptop imaging, asset tracking, and inventory of IT equipment.
- Conduct IT onboarding sessions for new hires.
- Support mobile devices.
- Assist with office services and data center tasks, including office moves.
- Administer Service Desk tools and manage Intune and JAMF configurations.
- 5 years of experience in technical support, with a focus on white-glove customer service.
- Strong expertise in macOS and Windows operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with Intune, SCCM, JAMF, WSUS, and application packaging.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Okta, Office 365, and Group Policy.
- Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting and ServiceDesk Plus is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills-able to adapt your style to different audiences.
