What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Manager position at CyberCoders?
We are a local Midsize firm headquartered in West Palm Beach. We are about 50 employees total with 3 offices in Florida. WPB, Orlando, and Miami. We focus on high-end, HNW/UHNW clients with numerous pass-through entities. As a firm we focus on tax, accounting, valuation, and wealth management services. Many of our clients use us as a family office and come with a lot of high-complexity issues, especially in the gift, trust, and estate tax realm.
We are looking for an experienced tax manager with strong experience in the fiduciary tax world and complex tax compliance background to be a client service focused manager. We can offer flex hours, strong financial growth path, limited busy seasons, and a collaborative group to work on complex tax matters.
What you need- 7 Years of Public Accounting
- Active CPA or JD/LLM
- Strong HNWI, Partnership, s-corp experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state fiduciary income tax, estate tax, and gift tax
- Proficiency with tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, GoSystem, or similar)
- Familiarity with estate planning strategies and wealth transfer techniques
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-net-worth individuals, families, and fiduciaries
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships
- Review and prepare individual and pass-through returns (Forms 1040, 1065, 1120s, 990)
- Review and prepare complex trust, estate, and gift tax returns (Forms 1041, 706, 709)
- Advise clients on estate planning, charitable giving, and wealth transfer strategies
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations related to trusts and estates
- Provide guidance on tax implications of estate administration and fiduciary responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and seniors
- Review workpapers and ensure quality control across engagements
