Tax Manager

We are a 30-person CPA firm in the twin-city area. We are a full-service firm offering audit, accounting, tax, and business advisory services to individuals, private businesses, and non-profit organizations. We offer the ability to work in the office and from home. We offer full benefits covering the majority of the healthcare premiums for employees. Currently, we are looking for experienced individuals to fill the shoes of a recently retired partner from the audit team. 

We are looking for a Tax Manager/Senior Manager to fill the shoes of a retired partner. This person should have experience working with a wide range of business and individual clients. Most of our clients are in the $10M-$50M revenue range with some getting up to $500M, but we also have some with smaller s-corps under $1M.  Construction, manufacturing, Real Estate and healthcare are some of the most common industries, but we span most industries. 

What you Need

• 6 Years in Public Accounting
• Active CPA or EA
• Expertise in Business and Individual Tax  
• Privately Held Businesses
• HNWIs, Partnerships, s-corps, trust & estate, some c-corps
• Clients generating ($5 million - $200 million in annual revenue)
• Experience Training, Mentoring, and Supervising Multi-Person Teams
   

What you will be doing:

• Prepare & Review Complex Tax Returns
• Leading Tax Planning & Consulting Engagements
• Client Management - Direct Contact with clients for tax planning, consulting, and identifying tax issues
• Researching Complex Tax Issues
• Train & Mentor Team of multiple levels of employees
• Managing Multiple Engagements for Multiple Clients at all times
• Assisting with occasional financial statement prep
