Superintendent - WTP/WWTP

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the operations and maintenance of Water Treatment Plants (WTP) and Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP). The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all regulations, manage staff effectively, and maintain the facilities to deliver high-quality water services.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of WTP and WWTP facilities ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Manage and train staff to ensure efficient and effective plant operations.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for equipment and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with other departments and external agencies regarding water quality standards and regulations.
• Review and analyze data related to plant performance and implement improvements as necessary.
• Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory compliance and internal use.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and procurement for plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within WTP and/or WWTP operations.
• Strong knowledge of concrete and piping systems relevant to water treatment processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
