Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Independently manage small to mid-sized projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reviews of project deliverables.
- Prepare project documentation, including calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technical challenges.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients and contractors, addressing inquiries and providing project updates.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Advanced proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD, AFT Fathom, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and applicable standards.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required.
