Sr Wastewater PM

Position Overview
The Senior Wastewater Project Manager will oversee the planning, design, and management of wastewater treatment projects. This role is crucial for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage wastewater design projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and review design documents, calculations, and specifications for wastewater treatment plants.
• Utilize AutoCAD and OpenRoads for design and modeling of wastewater systems.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal permitting requirements.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for wastewater treatment projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in wastewater engineering and project management.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and design principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with OpenRoads software.
• Experience with permitting processes and regulatory compliance, particularly with NC DOH and DEC.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) practices is a plus.
• Experience with pump station design, pipeline engineering, and environmental considerations.
