Position Overview
The Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audits of our financial and operational processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulations, and providing insights to enhance the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute audit engagements from planning through to reporting and follow-up.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct audits related to financial statements, tax compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Identify areas for process improvement and provide recommendations for enhancing internal controls.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
- Prepare detailed audit reports for senior management and the audit committee.
- Assist in the development of the annual audit plan based on risk assessment.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance standards.
- Experience with audit software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Professional certification such as CPA is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP and other ERP systems is a plus.
