Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Internal Auditor, locating in Schaumburg, or Joliet IL. The Internal Auditor is responsible for conducting financial audits, preparing comprehensive audit reports, and evaluating internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies. Responsibilities also include analyzing financial operations, identifying risks, and providing actionable recommendations to improve processes and mitigate risks. The auditor will work closely with various departments to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in the organization's financial practices.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to evaluate data and identify trends
- Knowledge of Finance and financial policies and regulations
- Exceptional Communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise documentation
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or CIA certification is a plus
- Prior experience in auditing or financial management is preferred
