Senior Attorney - Civil Litigation (Defense)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Attorney specializing in Civil Litigation Defense to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex litigation cases, including class actions and wage-hour disputes, providing high-quality legal representation to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil litigation cases, focusing on defense strategies.
• Handle complex litigation matters from inception through resolution, including discovery, trial preparation, and court appearances.
• Develop and implement case strategies for class action lawsuits and wage hour disputes.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution processes as necessary.
• Collaborate with junior attorneys and legal staff to ensure effective case management and client communication.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting civil litigation.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active state bar membership.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation with a focus on defense.
• Proven track record of handling complex litigation and class action cases.
• Strong understanding of wage-hour laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
