Position Overview
The Restoration Technician is responsible for responding to emergency service calls and providing water damage mitigation and restoration services to residential and commercial properties. The technician will work diligently to assess the situation, execute necessary restoration processes, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the recovery process.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency service calls for water damage restoration.
- Perform water mitigation techniques to minimize damage.
- Assess damage and develop restoration plans.
- Execute restoration processes including drying, dehumidifying, and sanitizing affected areas.
- Communicate with clients to explain the restoration process and provide updates.
- Document the restoration process and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide emergency services after hours.
- Experience in disaster restoration and water mitigation is preferred.
- Ability to work on-call and respond to emergency situations promptly (1 week a month on-call rotation)
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and handle equipment.
- Preferred but not required: IICRC Certification.
