We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team specializing in Workers' Compensation Defense. The ideal candidate will support our clients by providing expert legal representation and advice in workers' compensation cases, ensuring they receive the best outcomes possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to workers' compensation cases.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Represent clients in hearings and negotiations with opposing parties.
- Provide initial defense analysis and claims exposure assessments.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and solutions.
- Stay current on legal developments in workers' compensation law.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Experience in Workers' Compensation Defense is required.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with WCAB procedures is a plus.
- Experience in initial defense analysis and understanding claim exposure is desirable.
